If you are looking for an alternative or independent water supply and need specialist construction services without resorting to divining, dowsing or other magical ‘arts’ preferring rather the scientific approach based on sound hydrogeological and engineering principles that enable the location and development of groundwater supplies even in remote locations then SGA is the route to a successful outcome. SGA provides a full service from hydrogeological study, site surveys and contract specification to water well construction, borehole drilling, yield development and test pumping. SGA also carries out pump test analysis, water sampling and chemical testing, submersible pump installation, borehole headworks construction and water supply commissioning. SGA also installs water delivery systems, water storage facilities and water treatment equipment. SGA’s services are of value to clients with residential and commercial properties, industries using large volumes of water, farms, piggeries, equestrian centres, guest houses, hotels, hospitals, schools and villages. WATER ‘Of all the substances that are necessary to life as we know it on earth, water is by far the most important, the most familiar, and the most wonderful; yet most people know very little about it.’ US engineer Thomson King
The amount of groundwater present within the soils and rocks of the earth has been estimated at some 2 million cubic miles (each cubic mile is equivalent to 4.2 trillion litres) ie a total of some 8,000,000,000,000,000,000 litres. This equates to about 13 million litres for every man woman and child on the earth. |
